Actually with a line you can trace the circular path I took around Europe. After university I worked full time at my crappy warehouse job for 8 months and then spent two months and 10k traveling. I started in London made it as far as Abu Simbel in Egypt and then came back to London along a different route (Eastern Europe).
It was great but exhausting.
I did Singapore, Hong Kong, and the east coast of Australia a year later for a month, and then 3 weeks in the UK 4 months later. But that wold be the last and the smallest of the big trips.
I did two weeks in the UK, part of it related to a conference I attended in Edinburgh. That included a brief stopover in the Netherlands. I also went for a job interview in Germany, spent a week in Bavaria. Both of those trips were on someone else's dime, best kind.
Mexico and Jamaica were both shore excursions as part of our honeymoon cruise.
