He is credited in the main book but doesn't have writing credits on any. Those sourcebooks are almost impossible to find online so either his fans were very loyal or they didn't sell very well (probably both).Obirihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13423387256920495798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16553938.post-4289233987904229892009-07-05T20:39:25.221-06:002009-07-05T20:39:25.221-06:00About Blackmoor, I hear there is going to be a 4e ...About Blackmoor, I hear there is going to be a 4e treatment of it published by Goodman Games, the same company that published the d20 Blackmoor campaign setting. It's hard to imagine there will be much more than the one sourcebook since Arneson's death. So, it's likely there won't be much new material produced beyond what was already released in the previous version of the campaign setting.Rognarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16325723561313536356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16553938.post-57828388901842121842009-07-02T17:55:35.200-06:002009-07-02T17:55:35.200-06:00We'll have to agree to disagree on Event Horiz...We'll have to agree to disagree on Event Horizon. I loved it and even own it on DVD. I actually have a generic rpg supplement based on Aliens, so I know it's been done before, but what I really want is an element of supernatural evil lurking in the dark corners of space. Babylon 5 explored a bit of that, but one the Shadow War reached its conclusion, the mystery was gone.Rognarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16325723561313536356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16553938.post-57343069015833292852009-07-02T15:27:14.429-06:002009-07-02T15:27:14.429-06:00Back to the original question of your post I would...Back to the original question of your post I would like to have seen more Blackmoor material. I've always loved that setting but finding sourcebooks/info on it has always been a pain.

I think a Lost World type setting (with limited Victorian era weapons and dinosaurs) would be rather neat.Obirihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13423387256920495798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16553938.post-91844470897172753782009-07-02T15:21:24.244-06:002009-07-02T15:21:24.244-06:00I hated Event Horizon. I found the movie nonsensical and just plain dumb.

Now I think Aliens would make an awesome rpg setting. I think it would be a short combat since pretty much which ever side gets the first blow wins. Aliens is probably my second favorite movie of all time.Obirihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13423387256920495798noreply@blogger.com
